General Refund Policy
There is no refund for tryouts, missed skills. sessions, or evaluation skates.
Acceptance or registration on a Boston Imperials team confirms a player's commitment to the team, the Club, and the fees associated with membership for a full year or season depending on the program. The Boston Imperials will review requests for an adjustment to Club Fees in the case of a significant injury or relocation.
Please note that refunds will not be issued due to a player's academic performance or "work load". To initiate this review, please complete the following form and clearly explain the circumstances. Any adjustment or refund of Club Fees will be determined on a case by case basis by the Boston Imperials. Administrative fees may apply.
Refunds will be provided in the same manner in which payment was made and by check if payment was made via cash or e-check. If payment was made by credit card, refunds will appear on your credit card statement as a credit. Refunds or Club Fee adjustments will not be provided due to weather. We will do our best to reschedule and play as many games as possible each season.
Should a significant injury occur that results in a substantial loss of play or participation in Boston Imperials activity, we can initiate a review of the player's Club Fee by contacting club ownership A significant injury is defined as an injury that results in a player not being able to participate in team activities for more than a six week timeframe. In order for your request to be considered, you must submit a doctor's note to confirm the severity of the injury.
Consideration for relocations outside the general Greater Boston area will be given. Please contact us if this is needed.
Neither party will be liable for failure or delay to perform obligations, which have become practicably impossible because of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the applicable party. Such circumstances include without limitation natural disasters or acts of God; acts of terrorism; labor disputes or stoppages; war; government acts or orders; epidemics, pandemics or outbreak of communicable disease; quarantines; national or regional emergencies; or any other cause, whether similar in kind to the foregoing or otherwise, beyond the party’s reasonable control.
Written notice of a party’s failure or delay in performance due to force majeure must be given to the other party no later than five (5) business days following the force majeure event commencing, which notice shall describe the force majeure event and the actions taken to minimize the impact thereof. All delivery dates under this Agreement affected by force majeure shall be tolled for the duration of such force majeure. The parties hereby agree, when feasible,
not to cancel but reschedule the pertinent obligations and deliverables for mutually agreed dates as soon as practicable after the force majeure condition ceases to exist.
