Chris DymentDirector of Hockey/Technical Director
Before joining the Imperials, Chris served as Assistant Coach of the Islanders Hockey Club NCDC team in the USPHL. His previous coaching stints included Bentley University (NCAA D1), Boston University (NCAA D1), and NH Jr. Monarchs (USPHL). A native of Reading, MA Chris had a very successful playing career. At the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, Dyment was selected by the Montreal Canadiens with the first pick of the fourth round (97th overall). As a member of the Boston University Terriers, Dyment was part of three Beanpot championship teams (1999, 2000, 2002) and was a two-time selection to the ACHA All-America Second Team (2000, 2002). He was named a Hockey East First Team All-Star as sophomore before earning second-team honors his senior year, when he was tabbed the Hockey East Best Defensive Defenseman. After his senior year at BU in 2002, Dyment embarked on a professional playing career that lasted seven years, four of which were in the American Hockey League (AHL). He won the Calder Cup with the Houston Aeros in 2003 and then played a season with the Springfield Falcons before spending two years with the Providence Bruins, where he served as an assistant captain. Chris played professionally until 2008-2009 before embarking on his coaching career. Chris resides in Burlington with his wife and 2 children.
A former US Air Force Officer, Dennis Franczak is CEO of Fuseideas, one of New Englands largest independent advertising agencies. With over 20 years in marketing, interactive strategy, advertising and public relations, Dennis has been a leading voice throughout the marketing industry, having worked with clients such as Adidas, Bose, HBO, ESPN, Disney, the National Hockey League, National Basketball Association, and more. Dennis was also an accomplished college soccer coach for almost 12 years, having held coaching positions at Boston College, Northeastern University, MIT, and Suffolk University.
Dave brings an extensive background in Sports Marketing and Management, having held senior roles with particular focus on business operations, strategy, finance and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA Canada). In 2004, when the Saint John Sea Dogs were awarded a franchise in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Dave was appointed the President of the team. He was able to pull together all aspects of business and hockey operations in less than one year, and the team went on to set a new league attendance record in their inaugural season. Dave brings an extensive background in Sports Marketing and Management, having held senior roles with particular focus on business operations, strategy, finance and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA Canada).
