Winchester, MA (January 31, 2020) — The Boston Imperials today announced the appointment of Tom Tracy, a Matignon hockey alumni, as Academy Assistant Coach. Tom will assist with coaching duties and recruiting for all three teams.

Tracy was a captain on the 2008 and 2009 State Tournament teams. After playing four years of college hockey at Framingham State University, he continued his career overseas in Germany and New Zealand. In Germany, he won a scoring title and a championship, while also working as a private skills coach. In New Zealand, he operated as head coach of the U20 Auckland Team, and worked as a private skills instructor for Camorra Hockey School. Tracy is excited to bring his knowledge and experience to a new chapter of Matignon hockey.

"We are trying to build a program that builds on the legacy of Matignon hockey and having someone of Tom's caliber to help us recruit and teach our academy players," said Nate Bostic, Academy Director.

The Boston Imperials Academy will take the ice in 2020 with 3 teams, the U18 Preps, U16, and U15 teams. For more information, contact Academy Director Nate Bostic.
