Continuing their growth trajectory, the Boston Imperials added to their impressive staff with the appointment of Scott Fitzgerald to their Board of Directors.
Scott Fitzgerald, owner of the TPE Platform, the leading youth hockey evaluation network in the country, is also in his 13th season in the Boston Bruins organization. In his role with the Bruins, he scouts collegiate prospects throughout North America with an emphasis on college players. Prior to joining the Bruins organization in 2006, he served as an area scout for the Columbus Blue Jackets.
“Scott has the experience, network, and contacts to help the families in our program navigate the confusing world of youth and midget hockey. His connections and hockey reputation is impeccable and I’m honored to have him help our players. They both bring different skill sets to the table which helps make us a more well-rounded program for our teams,” noted Dennis Franczak, Club Owner.
Their first order of business will be to help in the search for a General Manager who will take over the hockey operation of the club. Interviews are well underway and be concluded shortly. This announcement caps a long month for the Imperials, as earlier this month the club hired Chris Kuchar, Boys Head Coach at Malden Catholic and Matignon’s Head Coach, Derek Edgerly.
Founded this year in 2019, the Boston Imperials are a provisional member of the BEAST Series and also members in the New England Premier Hockey League. In 2020, they will offer National Bound U18, U16, and U14 teams at the BEAST/PREP, Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels. For more information, visit www.bostonimperials.com
